Tommy was bred by Betty Miedlinger and is a beautiful black masked red.  He is clear of the Renal Dysplasia gene.

American, International Champion Motown's One In A Million

Aaliyah was bred by Paul Watson (picture taken by Paul).  She is a lovely gold and white.  I fell in love with her at the 2011 National and asked Paul if he ever decided to sell her please give me a call.  Well he did.  In the picture to the left, she is about 7 mos. old and being shown in the puppy class at the American Shih Tzu Club National in May of  2011. 
Ally is clear of the RD gene.

Topper passed away when he was 16 years old.  
He was gold and white with a nice stocky body, level top line, big head and eyes.  He finished quickly and has produced a number of Champions.
After Topper retired, his favorite activity was sleeping in a little bed by the sofa.

Sometimes you get really lucky and get that one dog in your life that is so precious that your life is never the same, and their lives are never long enough.  She was my husbands and my little sparkle of light.  She went every where with us.  She weighed in at 3.5 to 4 lbs.  She was born in a litter of 5, with 2 being very small.  We did not sell her because we were always told that the little ones are sick.  She was healthy and oh so smart.  She traveled in her very own little bag, never made a sound and would be in the airplane or cafe without anyone ever knowing. She knew a dozen tricks and when asked she did one after another by just pointing.  Of course she had to be in the right mood, or she just looked at you and went and sat on dads lap.  My husband would love to hold her and when kidded about her size would say: it takes a real man to own as Shih Tzu.  She has been gone for over 7 years now and I still miss her so.  I know that when my husband passed he is now holding her close.

"Coal"
Coal passed away in April of 2015, he was 16 years old.  I purchased him from a breeder that I thought had good dogs and knew when I got him that she had to be a very poor breeder.  One of those puppy mills you hear about.  Why I was recommend to go to this lady was beyond me.  Anyway I knew he was not a good dog health wise when he arrived but I could not send him back.  He was a wonderful pet even with some health issues.  He was always with me until later in life when his health issues would not allow him to sleep in my bed.  He was very sweet and I miss him very much.  I gave him the best life I could and I will always be thankful that I could. Miss you baby.

"Keeper"

Keeper passed away December 20, 2012 

He was one of the special dogs in my life.  He got his name as a pup when I picked him up and said you look like a Keeper,  so he was.  One of the best structured dogs I have ever had with at coat that did not mat.  He was small 9 lbs at his heaviest and a huge coat.  I cut him down and then at age 2 decided to show him.  By the age of 3 he was in the ring.  He was so funny, he would flatten out on the floor, then zip around the ring when you were ready to go.  He finished his Am. Championship with 4 majors and surprised everyone that he did so well due to his size.  He has produced several Champions over the years. He loved coming in the house and sleeping on the sofa.  I will alway miss him.

"Duncan"​

Duncan was a great dog.  A red and white big boy at 16 to 18 lbs. But oh so lovable.  Very sweet natured.  We showed him several times, but he was so much bigger than the other dogs that he looked out of place.  If he was showing today he would be right with the rest of them, since the dogs being shown now are so much bigger than they were.  He passed away at the age of 16.

"Gabi"
Gabi was charged with "Looking Cute". That was his only expectation. He fulfilled it to a "T". His favorite things were the laps of  his Mom and Dad and a pair of tied in knots black panty hose to pull on and chew on. He was a "Pair a year dog." and he was loved to the very end of all 16 years.

"Pockets and Penny"​

​Pockets weighed ll lbs 9 oz and Penny 12 lbs 2 oz   They are Therapy dogs. They were so easy to train it was amazing.  I swear Pockets was born knowing how to "heal".  It took me 1 month and 1 week to "house break".  When we brought Penny home she just did everything Pockets did, and still does. 

Elaine does paintings of people's pets.  I do not charge the owners for the paintings, but ask them to make a donation to an animal charity of the choice in Pockets and Penny's name.

"Whitney, Bailey, and Rocky"
Peter and Carol loved Whitney and Bailey until they both passed away within less than a year of each other.  The two of them would come and visit us on a regular basis and as much as they enjoyed visiting, they were always thrilled to see their parents when they returned.  They have now adopted Ningsia's Rockin' On With Tu Chu.  Rocky is loving life in his new home.
